Fracture Me by Tahereh Mafi
(Shatter Me #2.5)
Summary:
In this electrifying sixty-page companion novella to the New York Timesbestselling Shatter Me series, discover the fate of the Omega Point rebels as they go up against The Reestablishment. Set during and soon after the final moments of Unravel Me, Fracture Me is told from Adam's perspective.
As Omega Point prepares to launch an all-out assault on The Reestablishment soldiers stationed in Sector 45, Adam's focus couldn't be further from the upcoming battle. He's reeling from his breakup with Juliette, scared for his best friend's life, and as concerned as ever for his brother James's safety. And just as Adam begins to wonder if this life is really for him, the alarms sound. It's time for war.
On the battlefield, it seems like the odds are in their favor—but taking down Warner, Adam's newly discovered half brother, won't be that easy. The Reestablishment can't tolerate a rebellion, and they'll do anything to crush the resistance . . . including killing everyone Adam has ever cared about.

I love the cover! The feather lashes are so beautiful, although I can't figure out what they signify. This novella will be from Adam's POV. I never really liked Adam in Shatter Me and Unravel Me, but I'm still excited to read this novella.
What do you think of the cover?
Adam is known as juliette's bird "you're my bird and you're going to help me fly away" so the feathers are like the bird?
ReplyDeleteWow, I love this. Like you I have no idea what the feather-lashes signify, but I love'em. I should really get a move on with this series :)
ReplyDeleteAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH SO EXCITED!!! Tbh I would rather it in Warner's POV. But still I can't wait. The cover look so awesome, that's one of the things I love about this series.
ReplyDeleteWow, that is a beautiful cover! I didn't like the first book that much, but a lot of people love this series - maybe I should give it another shot.

I don't usually read novellas but I actually love Adam so I may have to read this one. The covers on this whole series are beautiful (of course my hardback of Shatter Me is the old cover and doesn't match, oh well). ~Pam
ReplyDeleteI liked the second book better than the first, maybe you will too:)
ReplyDeleteLove this cover! I just finished up Shatter Me not to long ago, and LOVED it. So I'm desperately trying to catch up. I still need to read Warner's story too. So excited for this series :)
ReplyDeleteThe novella covers for this series are fabulous!
