An ideal beach book for me means a light, not too thick read which will not make you cry or display too much emotion and about which you do not have to think very hard.

  1. Good list, I love the Percy Jackson series it's my favorite and I've been meaning to read the Pretty Little liars series for awhile now since I love the show.

  4. I love reading my Pretty Little Liars series in the Summer! I'm so glad it's on your list, as well as Gossip Girl because there's nothing like a high-school drama to read on the Beach :) Great TTT!

  12. Grat list - I love you had Anna and the French Kiss on there - LOVE that book and Stephanie Perkins! If you have not read Lola and the Boy Next Door - it's a must read! I also loved Twilgiht and even though the series is done, still a Twihard @ heart so I totally reccommend Twlight too - sometimes i still read over that while i'm sitting on the beach, nothing like a great re-read to zone out to on vacation! Great list!

Harry Potter will always remind me of the beach bc I read the majority of the last one on the beach right after it came out :) Wake looks like a good beach read and I totally agree w/ reading fun series at the beach. It's a good place to read stuff like that. I always read PLL and The Lying Game at the beach :)

    I read the first six Pretty Little Liars books and stopped abruptly. They got too weird for me.

  41. I agree with you on HP & Twilight - they're such familiar favorites that I can quickly read them anywhere....I may have to give Gossip Girl a try soon, since I think I'm starting to get hooked on watching it on Netflix.
